+Yes I'm running Mandrake 9.1 and the problem reproduced in my Athlon
+XP 1.7 too. But a colleague of mine suggested maybe I don't have
+enough memory and the process is brought down by the memory manager
+(maybe). I didn't have time to verify this yet, tonight I will do it.
+I have 256 MB of RAM and a 256 MB swap. Initially I thought this was
+ok for this test because under Windows the memory consumption rarely
