kind of not the answer you're seeking, though may be interesting.
http://code.google.com/p/magix-illuminate-2 is an mvc framework, where you
actually have an which works in your browser. the framework is not done
yet, and needs more work, but here you can create mvc apps without an ide,
not msft mvc, but mvc. and you can also use the upcoming release which has
an ide that works through the browser ...
