[Mono-aspnet-list] Generated Ajax proxy for WCF service has no operation methods

I'm developing with MonoDevelop 2.4 / Mono 2.6.7 / Ubuntu 10.10

HelloWorldService.svc/js 

The ASP.NET Ajax framework and generated service proxy are included in the
output. But, the proxy has no methods to call the service operations. Is
this by design, a bug, or am I doing something wrong? If by design, how do I
use the generated proxy?
