[Mono-aspnet-list] web.sitemap problems

No matter where I put Web.sitemap on my machine, I get the following error:

The file '/Web.sitemap' required by XmlSiteMapProvider does not exist.

I have the auto application functionality enabled. I've tried putting
web.sitemap in the root of the web server, in the root of the application,
and in the directory where the master page is.

This is what's causing that error:

    <asp:SiteMapDataSource ID="breadCrumbSource"  runat="server" />

    <asp:SiteMapDataSource ID="sectionSource" StartFromCurrentNode="true"
runat="server" />

I've tried having it as Web.sitemap and web.sitemap. Any thoughts on what
I'm doing wrong?
