[Mono-aspnet-list] ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Abnormal string size

I have narrowed down this problem to the mscorlib.dll. If I build this
library from the latest daily tarball (15th December) the error no-longer
occurs. However if I build from the latest svn trunk I once again receive
this error. 

I would prefer to continue to use the svn version for consistency but I have
no idea why this version of the dll causes this error.
