Thank you for your reply.

In fact I only managed to get this to work after updating to mono 2.4. Now
it's fine.

The message still appears. It's a bit annoying to see it, I must say, even
if it's harmless.

This message is unfortunate, but harmless - you can ignore it. It also
applies to the "global" 
server which is used only to handle autohosting, and that doesn't apply in
your situation. If your application doesn't run, there must be a different
reason for this - do you get any exceptions in the log or in the browser?
