I am still unable to fix this. I tried purging all mono related packages
and reinstalling but it doesn't help. If I install the mono-apache-server2
package again I start getting this in my apache log:

** (/usr/lib/mono/2.0/mod-mono-server2.exe:20432): WARNING **: The class
System.Collections.IEqualityComparer could not be loaded, used in mscorlib,
Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089
[Mon Jun 01 11:53:48 2009] [notice] Apache/2.2.11 (Ubuntu) mod_mono/2.0
PHP/5.2.6-3ubuntu4.1 with Suhosin-Patch mod_ssl/2.2.11 OpenSSL/0.9.8g
configured -- resuming normal operations

** (/usr/lib/mono/2.0/mod-mono-server2.exe:20432): WARNING **: Missing
method System.String::IsNullOrEmpty(string) in assembly
/usr/lib/mono/1.0/mscorlib.dll, referenced in assembly

** (/usr/lib/mono/2.0/mod-mono-server2.exe:20432): WARNING **: exception
inside UnhandledException handler: Cannot access a class member.

I am desperate to get this sorted - can anyone suggest a course of action?
