Hey folks,

Sorry for the massive delays in announcing recent releases. Tomboy
1.5.0 came out Oct 4, followed by 1.5.1 today.

I had been putting off sending emails due to my inability to always
have Mac and Windows binaries available in a timely fashion, but I'm
not going to let that stop me now. Occasionally you will see emails
with links only to Linux tarballs, with Mac/Win binaries "coming
soon". Hopefully with some help from other Tomboy developers, we'll
get this process cleaned up a bit this cycle.

Now, back to the announcement!

Tomboy is a simple personal note-taking application designed to be
unobtrusive and friendly, while supporting inter-note-links similar to
a WikiWikiWeb to help you organize your notes and ideas. It can run
either as a GNOME panel applet or a notification tray icon.

Windows installer:
coming soon, please use 1.5.0 in the mean time:

Mac OS X zip:

Changes since the 1.4.0 stable release include:

Version 1.5.1
* Fix Mac build, link to correct Help (#632440, Stefan Schweizer)
* Translation updates: hu, ko, ro, sl

Version 1.5.0
* Fix windows crash when libproxy not available (#624885, Jeff V Stein)
* Stop using deprecated GDK API in libtomboy
* Translation updates: ca, de, es, fr

Special thanks to everyone entering bugs, submitting patches,
keeping translations up to date, and helping to make Tomboy
better!

Sandy
