[Gtk-sharp-list] Adding support for gestures to Gtk#

Our company has a desire to use Gtk# with touchscreen devices but the lack of support in the latest 2.99.3 Gtk# "pre-release" software is a tad worrying.

Is there any prospect that this support will be added?

Is it worth us trying to add it ourselves and pushing the changes upstream?

Does anyone have any idea how difficult this will be? I've been playing around with the gtk-api.raw file with some limited success, as far as I can tell it's a matter of adding EventController as a child of GObject then using that as a baseline of all the gesture events.

Cheers,
Al.
