[Gtk-sharp-list] how I can know if a DB is created?

I'm doing an application of gtk and sqlite in mono, I prefer to create the DB
internally, I would like to know how to check if a DB exists?.
I read that with system.io, file.exist I can use, but I can not find the
package references, how fix that? or how catch the sqlite exeptions?
