[Gtk-sharp-list] Gtk libraries

Gtk-sharp list,

We have a Linux/Win/Mac C# application which we build with
Mono/MonoDevelop. Everything works fine, except the Gtk libraries that
come with Mono are outdated.

We would like to ship Gtk libraries that are the most up-to-date, to
fix obvious errors like:

* on Windows, can't copy from gtk
* on Mac, the gtk menus behave odd (mouse movement can confuse, and
you have to re-mouseover a popup submenu to regain control)

How can we update the Gtk libraries that we use with MonoDevelop, or
generally with Mono?

I see that there are new binaries at:
http://www.gtk.org/download/index.php

But can't figure out how to build with those and use them.

Any pointers appreciated!
