[Gtk-sharp-list] TreeView merge columns

Hello all,

This is my first post here :-)

I have a question about Gtk TreeView. Is it possible to merge all columns
for a specific row?

A good example is the "Properties" Pad in MonoDevelop. Several rows(nodes)
are grouped under a toplevel node and the row of that toplevel node expands
over all the columns and has a grey background.

I want to accomplish exactly the same.

Any pointers in the right direction?
