[Gtk-sharp-list] using/creating/changing themes!

Hey guys. So i want to use styles like found
here.<http://art.gnome.org/themes/gtk2?page=1>I don' t mind creating
them myself if i only knew how. Do you know how to
accomplish that?
Another very simple thing. How can i change widget's backround color? In
this forum <http://go-mono.com/forums/#nabble-td1544792> it says that if a
widget doesn't have GdkWindow, then modifying its background color has no
effect. But if i want to change button's color? Putting it inside the event
container and then changing container's color has no effect on button.
All i want to do is to have a nice gui, not the standard one.
Also (that might sound stupid), but my design should be the same on windows,
linux and mac os.
