That would be TextView, which is incredibly flexible in terms of
formatting and behavior.  But a TextView doesn't have scroll bars, so
MonoDevelop nests it in a ScrolledWindow for you.  To control the
content of the TextView you need to use its Buffer property.  You don't
need to mess with the ScrolledWindow at all.
