[Gtk-sharp-list] embedding video player in gtk# app

Hi!

Thanks for the answer, as far as I understood the gstreamer binding is
obsolete but it migt get resurrected by an upcoming current gsoc.
So this goes not look like a route I should go right now.

I also already looked at banshee, but the code did not look that easy to
adapt. I already started to come up with a mix from the various sources
http://pastebin.com/m33a6019c but did not yer understand how to embed
the video image.

Just a few minutes ago I finally got a tip from #gstreamer.
There seems to be a gtk widget in development:

So right now I will look if I can use this.
