[Gtk-sharp-list] current approach to video stream

Hi,

I am new in this subject and I was investigating about how to embed video
stream in a little gtk# application, I found two approaches one with
gstreamer ( I couldn't find a gst-sharp.tgz to compile and install) and the
other (if I am not wrong) is using Moonlight. Gst-sharp seems not maintained
or at least some obsolete, I am right ?

Can someone helps me giving some orientation , is there any other approach
to make a video stream application for desktop (I am not interested in a web
application)?
