[Gtk-sharp-list] Gnome.Canvas slows down

searched for this around the internet but found nothing...

well.

i made a little application to test some cylindrical coordinate rendering
using a Gnome.Canvas .
this is the first time i use this class, so i'm probably missing something,
but anyway the problem is that the more i play with a slider, the slower the
rendering gets. (each slider controls a point of view property... and
redraws the scene)

i attach my http://www.nabble.com/file/p23229581/CylindricalCoords.zip
complete source code (CylindricalCoords.zip) , so you can examine it... and
play with the sliders.

constructive criticism appreciated, specially when it comes to optimization
=)

k, thx and bye

p.s.: some random things i think might be useful (and remember right now),
i'm using:

-openSUSE 11.1

-GNOME 2.24.1

-MonoDevelop 2.0

-mono 2.4-19.1

-gnome-sharp 2.24.0

can't think of anything else...

Attached Source Code (again, in case you missed it):
