[Gtk-sharp-list] Building on OpenSolaris

Hello,

   I am attempting to build gtk-sharp 2.12 on OpenSolaris snv_98 (updated
from 2008.5), but I am having troubles.  For some reason that I can't figure
out, the bootstrap-2.12 script is not setting MONO_DEPENDENCY flags
correctly so I get this output:

...
checking for MONO_DEPENDENCY... no
checking for gacutil... /opt/mono/bin/amd64//gacutil
checking for al... /opt/mono/bin/amd64//al
checking for csc.exe... no
configure: error: You need to install either mono or .Net

however in the same environment from the same command-line:

mono --version
Mono JIT compiler version 2.1 (/trunk/mono r114622)
Copyright (C) 2002-2008 Novell, Inc and Contributors. www.mono-project.com
    TLS:           normal
    GC:            System Boehm (with typed GC)
    SIGSEGV:       normal
    Notification:  Thread + polling

    Disabled:      none

I, being somewhat new at bootstrapping and compiling mono from svn, have not
been able to figure out how to override MONO_DEPENDENCY_CFLAGS,
MONO_DEPENDENCY_LIBS nor what the proper values should be for my system.

FYI:
uname -a
SunOS iroko 5.11 snv_98 i86pc i386 i86pc Solaris

Any help would be great.
