[Gtk-sharp-list] Databindings, ColumnMappings property

Hello,

Is anyone using databindings from http://gtk-databind.sourceforge.net/ ?
I did a few tests and it works verry well, I am thinking of using it for my
project.

But I don't know how to use the ColumnMappings property of the TreeView to
"manipulate" data before displaying it. I am using DataTable and a column
store an image path, is it possible to create a PixBuf from this file before
displaying it in the treeview ? If using BLOB, the file (png, or jpeg) must
be converted to Pixbuf also.

Also, the project seems to be sleeping since 6 months or so, is it going the
dodo way?

I find this project really powerfull, usefull, helpfull ... but is it a good
idea to begin a project with it?
