Hi and thanks for reading !
I am a newbie to Mono-develop and I hope u will excuse me with this silly
question.
It is about the compiled output .exe file.
I have installed Monodeveloper and Gtk# under Ubuntu/gnome.
I wrote a small "Hello World" dialog and it compiled fine without errors :).
When I looked at the compiled file-Type with Nautilus the file was
recognized
as Dos/Windows executable !!??
Is this normal ??
When I look at the binary with a texteditor the first lines sure looks like
in a windows .exe file.
The file runs perfectley under Linux but will not run under
windows.
When I first read about Mono I got the impression that it could compile
binaries to both windows an Linux
Have I missunderstood something or am I doing something wrong ??
Happy new year folks :drunk:
/Emil
