I tried to create a simple test case, but MonoDevelop behaves as you say
it should.  Curious, I tried the exact same thing in the application I'm
developing.  Surprisingly, the bug didn't show itself there either.  I now
suspect something weird happened between version .11 and .12 of
MonoDevelop.  Would it be a good idea to file even a heisenbug like this
one?
