[Gtk-sharp-list] libgtksharpglue missing

for some reason, when i installed gtk#, libgtksharpglue.so was missing, now
when i reinstall, it is no longer missing but i still get this error

stevieb at utnubu:~/cs$ mono hello.exe

what is the problem here?

I am on Ubuntu Edgy Eft and have Mono 1.2.3.1
