[Gtk-sharp-list] app runs on windows, not on linux

Rafael,
Thanks for your assistance. I don't believe that I've
adjusted the encoding of any of my app's xml documents
including the .glade file from utf-8. The files were
zipped up from windows onto a usb disc and then copied
directly over to my FC5 box.
Do you know of a good way to detect document endoding?
If I could tell how it was encoded, I could then
adjust the processing directive(s) if necessary. Do
you agree?
