[Gtk-sharp-list] Is there any way to check if the size of TreeViewColumn has changed?

Thanks for the solution pete you saved me!
The whole GTK API is something totally new to me, 
especially the way events are handled is different than the WinForms
approach. 
I really need to learn the GTK basics :-)
