[Gtk-sharp-list] Socket Widget

Hi guys ,How are you.
I just read about the other widget in Gtk#.I dont understand about the 
plug widget and  socket  widget.Can anyone  help me to  make me clearer  
and if possible, you can  give some example of  coding.Thank you
