Glade works fine on Windows too. I had some problems with visualization of
some controls (toolbar buttons) for time being, but they were solved when
I've copied libatk-1.0-0.dll and libgtk-win32-2.0-0.dll from last Gtk
for Win (2.8.6.rc3)
to Mono/bin directory. ... probably it will break something else in
the future ...
Then I use Glade from that newer version of Gtk and eveyrhting still works.
For time being I use Visual Studio.NET + Glade, Gtk# and some Mono libraries :).
But also tested it on Linux (since the results should be portable).
