[Gtk-sharp-list] Implementing the TreeModel in C#

Is is possible at this time to implement the TreeModel interface in C#
code?  I want to build a TreeModel that uses an ADO DataTable for
storage.

I've read discussions from a while ago that said this wasn't possible
because of the inability to override C virtual functions, but haven't
seen any discussion of this recently.
