New versions of Glade (that support GTK+ 2.4) use Gtk.ToolButton widgets
when adding buttons to toolbars.
Gtk.ToolButton was introduced in GTK+ 2.4 and therefore is not correctly
supported in gtk# 1.0.x. If you use gtk# 1.9.x you will find that
everything works ok.
If you must use gtk# 1.0.x you could use an older version of Glade that
inserts Gtk.Button widgets in toolbars or you could manually edit
the .glade file and replace GtkToolButton(s) with GtkButton(s).
