[Gtk-sharp-list] Porting .NET application to Mono on Win32

I spoke with the maintainer of all things remoting in the Mono Project 
(Lluis Sanchez) in the #mono channel at irc://irc.gimp.org.  Please see 
an extract of the conversation below:

<lluis> the format is interoperable so it will work... unless it 
serializes classes between the client and the server that have a 
different internal structure in MS.NET and mono
<paco> I just want to answer his email and tell him to post these sort 
of questions on [Mono-list] as opposed to [Gtk-sharp-list]
<paco> and if it was Mono all accross (not witstanding Mono Win32 
client) it should work even if it had serialization?
<lluis> yes, no problem in this case
