The TreeView works on Mono 0.30 Preview 2 with gtk# 0.15.

I had problems with the TextView though, so I modified sqlsharpgtk to handle
text differently.

gtk# 0.12 and 0.14 worked ok for me, but gtk# was on mono 0.28.

So, I wonder if it has something to do with Mono 0.29 causing the problem.

Oh sorry.  I'm running WinXP Pro SP1 with Mono .29 and
GTK# .14 (started with .12 installer then copied over
.14 binaries like the instructions on the GTK# wiki).
I also deleted that config file in /etc/mono to get
rid of that UNIX file error.  I was able to compile
and run a simple hello world app with just a gtk
window.  When I tried to compile a more complicated
calculator using gtk# I was able to compile ok but
when I tried to run I got the same exact error you
got.
Is that enough information for you?  Does that help?

And from your questions I take it you haven't solved
the error yet.
