[Gtk-sharp-list] Can I use Visual Studio.NET IDE for programming GTK#

Can GTK# be compiled in VS.NET IDE ?

And can we compile same code without any modifications
in native form in Linux. If we can have a native exe
of GTK# in Linux , will it run faster than windows
version ?
