Hi Joris,
It is really strange. I'm not using gentoo ebuilds, I'm using from svn.
I get the following in my gentoo box:
gacutil -l Mono.Data
The following assemblies are installed into the GAC:
Mono.Data, Version=1.0.5000.0, Culture=neutral,
PublicKeyToken=0738eb9f132ed756
Mono.Data, Version=2.0.3600.0, Culture=neutral,
PublicKeyToken=0738eb9f132ed756
Number of items = 2
Note that I have two Mono.Data because I'm using Mono 2.0.
I think that there may be some missing ebuild?
I never used Mono in my gentoo from ebuild, I'm only using svn.
I know this doesn't help much, but at least you can see that there is
something missing in your installation.
I hope it helps.
