[Gtk-sharp-list] Tooltips in general

In Windows.Forms there is an extensive Tooltip framework that allows us
to setup Tooltips for just about anything. So far I dont see that kind
of framework available in GNOME. I would like to have tooltips show up
for items in a TreeView as well as in a EventBox (TrayIcon) 

If anyone has information about Tooltips in GTK# please let me know, any
information is welcome (i dont need a complete how-to, i just need some
direction)
