Please file a bug with a sample program to reproduce the problem. 
Please make the sample as minimal as possible.  It is unlikely that I
will be able to look into the problem in the next few months, as my
efforts are going to be focused on the platform libraries, but perhaps
someone else will be able to provide a patch for it in the meantime. 

You might also include Murray's reply to your mail in the report as a
possible entry point for debugging.  Thanks Murray.
