[Gtk-sharp-list] Are proprietary GTK# components allowed?

I see that gtk-sharp is under LGPL. If i inherit GTK# widget to create a
custom one must i release it under LGPL too? Is there a way to create
commercial GTK# components for Mono? Due to patents/royalties that might be
the only way for a widget to exist (e.g. video player using some proprietary
video codec).

I short, can there be a GTK# section on componentsource.com?
