Perhaps your existing repository could act as some kind of staging area
for snippets/examples that can then be integrated into the API docs in
some way.

If we had enough samples, a whole "Samples" node on the documentation
tree for each class would be fantastic, but I suspect that's a lot more
work than is realistic.
