Golo,

open up a terminal and type (without the $):

$ export CVSROOT=':pserver:anonymous@anoncvs.gnome.org:/cvs/gnome'

$ cvs login 

$ cvs co gal gtkhtml

this will download the gal and gtkhtml modules to your current
directory, which are both needed to build monodoc.
