I got the same message error on XP but it works...
I think the problem on linux is more because it does not know EVENT =
button...

  I built ok ... when I run mono gtk.exe on linux I got error messages =
"failed to load libgtksharpglue.so " ?=20
  where is this lib ?
  I compile gtk-sharp without problem...
  but after configure it says I haven't two dll...=20
  gda-sharp.dll:no
  gnomedb-sharp.dll:no
  is it the problem ?
  I am recent newbie !!!
