I've been reading some emails on this list, and even
being subscribed to mono-hispano list, I've joined
gtk-sharp list too.

I would like to develop gtk# apps on MS Win98 or
Windows ME PCs. Yes, both are bad OS's to develop, but
those are the OS's I must use at work and that the
company I work for have paied :-(

I've done little "hello world" apps in my Debian
laptop, and it works nice, but when I try it on Win98
or ME it fails:

- First times it didn't compile. I had to copy gtk#
dlls to Windows.NET Runtime directory, and then it
compiled ok.
- Now, I get a lot of strange messages about

Fusion log follows:
=== Pre-bind state information ===
LOG: DisplayName = gtk-sharp, Version=,
Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null
LOG: Appbase = C:\MONO-0.19\

I have gtk apps (like Gimp) running on my PC, and I've
installed gtk2 from Jade site.

So, please, being a newbie as I am, could you provide
detailed instructions about how to setup mono&gtk# for
win32. I've tried to download cygwin, but connection
isn't stable enough. Isn't there a comple mono+gtk#
development environment for win32? I've looking at
#Develop, but it is based in windows.forms (but are
working in mono port).

Thanks in advance,
