[Gtk-sharp-list] Is gtk-sharp stable for use now?

Hi,

I have to do a little program for a course and I'm studing the 
possibility of use mono and gtk-sharp. I know that there is still a lack 
of documentation on gtk, but I'm really more worried thinking that the 
API can change while I do the project.
 
There is a stable API?  Can I use gtk-sharp with gtk2.2?
