Looking at the gnome2 sources, libgnomecanvas only depends on
gtk+/pango, libart, and libglade. It only depends on libglade for the
purposes of installing a libglade module, so I'm sure this dependency
could be commented out of the configure/makefiles.

So it should be relatively trivial to recompile under windows.
