Hi there,
I am using Suse Linux 8.0 and Mono 0.15. Now I would like to have a try
about Gtk# 0.4. First, Linux told me that I had to install Gtk+ 2.0,
which I tried to do.
But Gtk+ needs still more dependencies, one of them is
libgnomecanvas-2.0.2-1.i386.rpm. To install this rpm, I again need
another rpm called libglade-1.99.7-1.i386.rpm.
The problem now is, that if I try to update my existing libglade 1.7 using
rpm -Uvh libglade-1.99.7-1.i386.rpm
Linux tells me that the update can't be done because e.g. Gabber,
Everybuddy, ... need the old version.
What can I do to get the new version running in order to be able to
finally use Gtk#?
Thanks in advance,
Golo Haas
