[Glade-users] compatibility between different version of GTK/Glade

Hi,
I developpe a programm on two computers:
  *) on the first one with GTK (package 2.8.6-0ubuntu2.1) and Glade
(package 1:2.5.1-2ubuntu1)
  *) on the other one with GTK (package 2.8.17-1ubuntu5) and Glade
(package 1:2.5.1-2ubuntu2)

On the last one, the program works fine, but I get segmentation faults
with the first one. Are differents versions of GTK incompatible ?
Or is it a problem of programmation (see a message called
gtk_tree_selection_get_selected posted last week) ?
