[Glade-users] Formal Parameter Declaration

Hi folks
Glade_2 has a practice of declaring formal parameters in the form:
(<identifier> : access WhateverType)
This, to my way of thinking, should have the same effect as the form:
(<identifier> : in out WhateverType)
since "in out" actuals are passed by reference. It seems, however, to be more
orthodox Ada Style.
If there is no difference, why the departure from Standard? If there is a
difference, what is it?
Thanks
