I note that in the Gentoo Linux gnome-python ebuild, there's no libglade.py
in the gtk-2.0 tree for python 2.3, and symlinks for python packages all
point into the gtk-2.0 tree.
$ locate libglade.py
/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/gtk-1.2/libglade.pyc
/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/gtk-1.2/libglade.pyo
/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/gtk-1.2/libglade.py
I have some python scripts that refernce libglade that I'd like to get
working, but because of this, the import fails. Is this a problem with the
Gentoo ebuild being behind the curve, or has libglade.py functionality been
moved to some other package?
