Hey

Well you do have a point there. One option is that when you switch projects,
it hides all windows of the previous project, and only shows windows for the
project you switched too. This way only those windows show up which are in
the main window.

Another option is like you said. How to implement this MDI debatable, but I
like your idea of have a toplevel root in th tree view for each project.
